Shrewsbury Market Hall

With its commanding clock tower, the award winning Shrewsbury Market Hall stands proud between Shoplatch and Claremont Street. Since 1965 it has been home to many traders, offering fresh fruit and vegetables, meat and poultry, fresh fish, delicatessen, books, china, antiques, collectables and contemporary arts and crafts to name a few.

So if you’re looking for something a little different, inspirational, fresh and value for money, visit the Market Hall…it’s a unique experience.

The market trades on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays, however, some stallholders open on Thursdays from 9.00am to 2.00pm. Please see opening hours for further information.

There are two public entrances and a combination of staircases and public lifts serve the upper floors. Other services include public toilets. There is on street parking outside and larger, surfaced car parks nearby.  Sorry, but dogs, with the exception of Guide Dogs, are not allowed in the market.
